Police: Fight led to shooting on Flower St.

Police have released the name of the Rochester man shot on Flower Street Tuesday afternoon.

Police say 57-year-old Santiago Velazquez was involved in a confrontation with two suspects on the front steps of a home.

One of those suspects shot Velazquez in the lower torso and then both suspects fled the scene.

Velazquez was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Police are still looking for the suspects and their investigation continues.
