Hydrofracking hearing at Penfield Town Hall
Posted at: 09/05/2012 7:10 AM
Hydrofracking -- it's a controversy in many communities. If you live in Penfield, you have a chance Wednesday evening to tell town leaders what you think.
The town board is proposing a one year moratorium on hydrofracking.
Supporters of the natural gas-extracting process say it could bring jobs and money to upstate New York. Those against it are concerned about a negative impact on the environment.
The hearing is at 7:30 p.m. at the Penfield Town Hall.
