Tops to close Elmridge store in Greece

Tops Friendly Markets will close one of its stores in Greece next month.
The grocery market chain announced Wednesday that it will close its Elmridge store on Elmridge Center Drive on October 20, prior to its lease expiring at the end of November. Officials say the decision was made based on economic performance standards at the store.
Employees have been offered jobs at other Tops locations in the area. Customers can shop at Tops nearby stores in Gates, Spencerport, Hilton and Mt. Read Blvd in Greece.
