State Police make burglary arrest

State police have arrested a man in connection with a home invasion investigation in Palmyra.

Beau Terwilliger is charged with burglary, after police say he entered a home on Port Gibson Road and also assaulted the homeowner.

25-year-old Terwilliger was arraigned and sent to the Wayne County Jail without bail, pending further court action.

Investigators say the homeowner, a man in his 50s, suffered arm and head injuries and was treated and released from the hospital.
