Remaining school districts open doors, Holley to re-open

A handful of school districts will open Thursday morning after most local schools open on Wednesday.

Greece, Canandaigua, and some grades at Gates-Chili districts will have their first day of classes on Thursday.

Officials also say that students in the Holley Central School District will also resume classes on Thursday. The first day of school in Holley was cut short due to a gas leak. The leak was discovered when a suspicious odor was reported in the elementary school lunch room. Students at the elementary, middle, and high schools were all dismissed early.
