Obama gets ready for Thursday's speech

President Barack Obama speaks to the Democratic National Convention and the American people tonight, one night after delegates nominated him for a second term.

Last night, former President Bill Clinton made the case for another four years for Obama. Clinton said no president could have repaired all the economic damage in four years that Obama inherited.

Before Obama takes to the stage, delegates will hear from Vice President Joe Biden.

Ted Kaufman, a longtime Biden confidant who took his seat in the Senate, says look for Biden to use words such as "conviction," ''character" and "values," and to talk about what he's regularly mentioned in his campaign appearances, that "Osama bin Laden is dead and General Motors is alive."
