Golisano Children's Hospital has received a $5-million gift for its new neonatal intensive care unit. That unit will be named after the Gosnell family.
Georgia Gosnell and her late husband Thomas have already given money to create two professorships at the U of R Medical and Dental school.
Friday’s gift will go towards creating a NICU unit, equipped with 60 beds in the new hospital.
Work on the hospital's $145-million project will begin Monday.
