The weather may not have been ideal, but that did not stop the crowds from coming out to the M&T Clothesline Festival at the Memorial Art Gallery.
Clothesline is the largest and longest running Art and Craft festival in Rochester.
There was plenty of food, vendors and live entertainment.
Visitors can browse through and buy original art work from more than 400 artists from across New York State.
Joe Carney, the Director of Gallery Advancement, believes people come back for the artists.
He said, "They come back here year after year to see a specific artist… people who they know have exhibited at Clothesline for many, many years…” He continues, “They come back each year, go on those artists’ websites, see something that they like and then come visit with the artists. So, it's a social event as well as an opportunity for artists to sell their works."
On Saturday night, festival visitors were treated to a live performance from Nik and The Nice Guys.
The festival runs until Sunday, September 9.
