Police ID woman shot on Sherwood Avenue

nullRochester Police are still looking for suspects involved in a shooting that left a 22-year-old Rochester woman in guarded condition.

Officers responded to a home on Sherwood Avenue just before midnight Saturday for the report of a shooting. When they arrived on the scene, they found Mercedez Crowder lying in the front yard with a gunshot wound to her lower torso.

Investigators are not sure what happened prior to the shooting.
 
There are no suspects in custody at this time.
