Teachers to walk off job in Chicago

The new school year has just started and classes have already been cancelled in Chicago until further notice.
That's because more than 26,000 teachers will walk off the job Monday morning and begin picketing. Former Rochester City School District superintendent Jean-Claude Brizard is now the leader of Chicago schools.
Contract negotiations between school board members and the teachers union broke down late Sunday night. The issues -- classroom size, teacher evaluations and pay.
District officials say they have a plan to keep more than 400,000 students occupied for a half day.
