Wheatland man dies after falling off roof of car

nullA Wheatland man who fell off the roof a moving car over the weekend has died from his injuries.

Strong Hospital officials tell News10NBC that Orry Dowdell passed away as a result of injuries he sustained early Saturday morning.

Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies say the 22-year-old was hurt while he and four other men were driving from Rochester to Wheatland. According to police, Dowdell climbed out of the back seat of the car while it was moving, then got up onto the roof of the car and then fell off the car.

Police say no charges will be filed against the driver of the car.
