State Police collecting old prescriptions

nullIf you have any old prescriptions inside your medicine cabinet, state police want them.

Investigators say they have now placed a prescription mailbox at the New York State Police headquarters located on State 332 in Farmington. Starting Tuesday, people can drop off any unused or expired medications. 

Troopers say this will eliminate the prescriptions from falling in the wrong hands and will help the environment.
