A third man has been arrested in connection with the death of young Rochester man who was shot while waiting in line outside a sneaker store.
The suspect was arraigned in Gates Town Court late Tuesday afternoon. Kesean McKenzie-Smith was charged with attempted robbery and murder. Police say he tried to rob 19-year-old Montre Bradley while he was waiting in line outside a sneaker store in Gates. Moment later, Bradley was shot and killed.
Gates Police Chief David DiCaro says they believe they now have all the people on custody involved with Montre Bradley’s death.
McKenzie-Smith was arrested Tuesday. The 21-year-old was brought into Gates Town Court for his arraignment. In court, the judge read what McKenzie-Smith is charged with. The judge said that it is alleged that he went up to Montre Bradley and tried to rob him, during the attempted robbery. It is alleged that McKenzie-Smith or someone with him shot Bradley with a revolver.
McKenzie-Smith is expected to be back in court on Friday. Last week, William Wilkins was arrested and charged with Bradley’s death. Police say the two are accomplices. Wilkins will be in court Wednesday.
