Survey: More local employers plan on giving raises next year

More local employers plan to give raises in 2013 – that’s according to a new survey conducted by the Rochester Business Alliance.

Among the employers who responded to the Rochester Area Pay Trends survey, 88-percent said they are playing increases for some or all employees in 2013 and only nine-percent said they were planning a wage freeze or pay reduction.

According to the survey, employers are budgeting for a projected increase of three-percent in 2013.

This survey reflects the responses of 156 Rochester Business Alliance member companies, representing 82,400 employees.
