Two indicted in death of Fairport teacher

Indictments were handed up in the death of a popular Fairport teacher.

Heather Boyum was struck and killed while riding a bicycle in Penfield back in July. Police say she was hit first by a motorcycle and then by a car. 

A grand jury indicted the driver of the motorcycle, Mark Scerbo, with aggravated vehicular homicide, manslaughter, DWI and other charges. 

The driver of the car, Megan Merkel, is indicted on manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter, DWI and other charges. 

Both are being held in jail and will be arraigned at a later date.
