Ovarian Cancer 5k race raises money for Cancer Wellness Connections

On Sunday morning, hundreds of people made their way to Cobbs Hill to exercise for a good cause.
On Sunday, the Ovarian Cancer 5k race helped to raise money for Cancer Wellness Connections- an organization that helps women going through chemotherapy for ovarian cancer.
Most of the people who showed up on Sunday are friends or family members of a person with the disease.
The race's overall female winner not only had the fastest time, but she ran it in memory of her mother who died of the disease 4 months ago.
