Police say a Rochester woman was arrested after she almost hit a patrol car while driving drunk with her two young children in her car.

According to WGRZ, 29-year-old Kizzie Ford was arrested for driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra's Law, endangering the welfare of a child and having improper child restraints.

Police say they stopped Ford, who had her two four-year-old children in the car, after she almost collided with the patrol car. During the stop, officials say that Ford refused a blood-alcohol test and was arrested. Her two children were turned over to a family member.

Ford was taken to Orleans County Jail and will appear in Town of Albion Court later this month. Authorities say Child Protective Services has also now started it's own investigation.
