Sheriff's Deputies investigating infant death in Romulus

Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating the death of infant in the town of Romulus, Seneca County.
One-year-old Dieter Tackett II was found not breathing on Friday. He was taken to Geneva General Hospital and later transported to the pediatric intensive car unit at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. The infant died later that evening. The cause of his death is under investigation.
Sheriff's Investigators are currently working with the Monroe County Medical Examiners office and are awaiting autopsy and toxicology results. The preliminary investigation did not show any evidence of physical trauma.
