Insurance carriers will be required to cover treatment for autism

Parents of children with autism had the chance to learn more about a new law taking effect in November.

Autism Speaks hosted a forum at the University of Rochester on Tuesday night, so parents and others could learn more about that law.

Starting November 1, Insurance carriers will be required to cover treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorders.
