Kohl's looking to hire more than 50,000 seasonal employees

Kohl's has its eyes on strong holiday sales.

The department store plans to hire more than 52,000 seasonal employees for the make-or-break holiday shopping season. That's up more than 10-percent from last year.  
 
Kohl's anticipates hiring an average of 41 associates per store. It also expects to hire about 5,700 people for jobs at its distribution centers.
 
Kohl's says the jobs are part-time, ring from a few hours to more than 20 hours a week.
