News TV ads released in race for 25th Congressional District

Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks announced on Wednesday that her campaign has launched its first television advertisement, entitled "Choice," in her race to represent New York’s 25th Congressional District.
Brooks said, “I am very proud that my campaign today launched its first television advertisement and I am pleased to use this opportunity to share my plan to fix Washington with local voters.”

In response to the ad, Slaughter's Communication Director, Eric Walker said, "If you're happy with the culture of corruption in Monroe County that's costing taxpayers millions, then Maggie Brooks should get your vote. But if you want a tough fighter for the middle class, Louise Slaughter's for you."
On Tuesday, Congresswoman Louise Slaughter's campaign unveiled a new campaign ad that focuses on Slaughter's successful recall of 16,000 pieces of faulty body armor to keep the troops safe.
"When we send our brave young men and women into harms way, it’s downright criminal not to provide them with life-saving protection that they deserve," said Slaughter. “That’s why I fought so hard to get them the body armor they needed: so more and more military families can finally say "Welcome Home” to their young heroes."
