If you live in Brockport, you have until 9 p.m. Thursday to vote on a multi-million dollar upgrade project for Brockport schools.

Among the improvements, updating fields and parking lots, replacing windows, asbestos removal and adding wireless technology.

The project totals $19.5-million and the district says it addresses health and safety, as well as instructional issues. By holding a vote separate from the annual budget vote, the district can receive funding from a program called "Excel" but there is still an added cost for homeowners.

According to the district, a homeowner with a $100,000 house would pay an additional $23 a year or $2 a month for 17 years.

The polls close at 9 p.m. at the former bus garage on Allen Street.
