The College at Brockport held it's 12th annual "Diversity Conference" on Thursday.
The conference featured speakers, book signings and multicultural food tastings.
Arsalan Iftikha spoke to students about the importance of diversity in a post 9/11 world.
He thinks today's college students are more receptive to diversity, having been brought up with it during their childhood.
He said, "I think one of the great things about the Millennial generation is that since childhood, they've been exposed to a greater range of people of different backgrounds and races, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations. So they tend to be much more open to different ways of life and different experiences."
