$19.4 million dollar school project approved in Brockport

Brockport taxpayers went into the polls on Thursday to vote on a 19.4 million dollar school project.
It was approved by a 2-1 margin. There were a total of 635 votes, 422 for and 213 against.
The money will be used among other things for school renovations, to update athletic fields and to rehab parking lots. A home valued at $100,000 will see a $23 tax increase.
