Fairport mother goes for another crown

A Fairport mother is going for another crown. She wants to represent New York at the Mrs. America pageant and she's almost more than halfway there.

Molly Vasey – also known as Mrs. Western New York – is a 40-year-old wife and mother. Her next step towards the top is vying for the Mrs. New York Title in October. That winner goes all the way to Arizona for the Mrs. America pageant.

The Mrs. America pageant is reserved for married women and their support of a platform cause of their choice.

The Vaseys are adoption advocates.
