Hillside Children's Center unveils new renovation project

The Hillside Children’s Center Project is finally complete after 13 years and $22 million. The center’s renovation project wrapped up just in time for the agency’s 175th anniversary.
The center now features a vocational kitchen for culinary training for teens. There is a new baseball field, track and playground. Residential cottages were renovated to include privates rooms for teens. Organizers say this will help change the atmosphere at the center.
Organizers also unveiled a time capsule and planted a new one.
