Students at RIT break world record for largest tug of war tournament

nullStudents at RIT got down and dirty today. They even broke a world record.

On Saturday, the 17th Annual Mud Tug hosted by Phi Kappa Psi and Zeta Tau Alpha.

Coed teams of students faced off in a fierce battle of tug 'o war.

The winners get the bragging rights, while the losers take a mud bath.

This year students broke the world record for the largest tug of war tournament with more than 2,000 participants.

Mayor Richards and RIT President Destler got in on the fun.

Jenna Deutsch is the President of ZTA.

She says, "I just think mud tug is one of the greatest ways that RIT gets everyone together... everyone just comes out no matter where they're from or what their major is or who their friends are, everyone just comes together."
