A Rochester man was arrested after police say he led them on two separate chases through three counties. Troopers say 41-year-old Shawn Wallace was originally pulled over on Route 19 in Covington. Police say when troopers got out of their car, Wallace sped away.

Troopers chases him from Covington, which is in Wyoming County, into Gensee County, where they lost sight of his vehicle.

Police say Wallace was spotted again on Route 20A going towards Livingston County. Troopers say during the second chase Wallace almost hit a patrol car head on.

Police say Wallace was arrested on a dead end road in the Town of Leicester.

Investigators believe he originally sped away because he was driving with a revoked license. Wallace is now facing a long list of charges including reckless endangerment and unlawful fleeing of a police officer. He was arraigned in the Village of Genesee and is in the Livingston County Jail on no bail.

Police say nobody was hurt during the pursuit.
