A Monroe County Jail supervisor and sergeant, accused of raping seven female inmates, will be in court Monday morning.
Robert Wilson, 41, will be back in front of a judge for hearing in his case.
The 23-count indictment against him also includes sexual abuse charges, patronizing a prostitute and official misconduct.
Wilson is a 17-year veteran of the force and has been a supervisor at the correctional facility in Brighton for the last two and a half years.
The district attorney called these serious crimes and said the victims deserve justice.
Officials say whether any of the sexual contact in the jail was consensual is irrelevant because the law states that inmates cannot consent.
