Two men charged in deadly Gates shooting indicted by grand jury

nullThe two suspects arrested for the murder of a Rochester man who was waiting outside a shoe store in Gates have been indicted by a grand jury.

Twenty-year-old Kesean McKenzie-Smith and 19-year-old William Wilkins are charged with murder, robbery and attempted robbery.

McKenzie-Smith and Wilkins are accused of trying to rob 19-year-old Montre Bradley on August 31 while he was waiting in line to buy a new pair of shoes. Police say during the attempt, Bradley was shot and killed.

Both McKenzie-Smith and Wilkins are being held in Monroe County jail without bail and will be arraigned in the coming week.
