Waterloo man charged with sex abuse, endangering the welfare of a child

A 34-year-old Waterloo man has been arrested on sex abuse charges.

Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies say Tony Edwards had sexual contact with an eight-year-old girl in the Town of Waterloo.

Edwards is charged with criminal sex act, sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

Edwards was arraigned on the charges and released. He is due back in court on October 11.

An order of protection was issued.
