Governor Andrew Cuomo announced five businesses in the Finger Lakes region will create 41 jobs as a result of low-cost power allocated through the third round of the ReCharge NY power program.
The program was created by Governor Cuomo and put in place by the Legislature in 2011. The program is designed to spur economic development in all corners of the state by providing low-cost power to businesses and other entities that agree to create or retain jobs.
The five businesses in the Finger Lakes that will create jobs are American Rock Salt in Livingston County, Cannon Industries and Flower City Printing Inc (Lee Road and Mt. Read locations) in Monroe County and Chapin Manufacturing in Genesee County.
