Red Cross volunteers who assisted residents in the Gulf Coast during Hurricane Isaac will share their experiences.
Eight volunteers are scheduled to speak Tuesday morning about the devastation they witnessed after Hurricane Isaac hit the gulf. The discussion will be held at the Red Cross Building on Prince Street in Rochester starting at 10:30 a.m.
The heavy rains of Isaac caused flooding along the coast and left hundreds of thousands of people without power. The damage from the storm forced President Obama to declare federal emergencies for several areas in the gulf.
