The United Way is looking for your help. On Tuesday, Mayor Tom Richards and The United Way kicked off the City Workers United Way Fundraising Campaign.
At the event, the United Way of Rochester President Peter Carpino laid out how funds from the drive will help in the Rochester community.
Carpino said, “When I talk about our ability as a community to respond to our most pressing needs, our ability to do that depends upon unrestricted support that the community chooses to give us, the amount of money ear marked for the community fund.”
A fundraising carnival was held in the city hall atrium following the event.
