U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and the Wyoming County Sheriff's Deputies seized a substantial amount of marijuana in the Town of Perry Monday.

U.S Customs and Border Patrol pilots helped sheriff’s deputies locate 129 marijuana plants that were more than six feet tall. Sheriff’s Deputies say the plants were valued at $75,000.

Officials say the marijuana was being grown for sale and distribution due to the large amounts of it.

The Wyoming County Sheriff's Office and the Wyoming County Drug Task Force are still investigating.
