Town of Brighton acquires land

A major announcement in Brighton. The town has announced the acquisition of land that they will turn into a park.

Brighton Town Supervisor William Moehle announced that 72 acres of land, across from the town hall have been purchased and will be turned into parkland. They will be building a trail that will connect Elmwood Avenue to Westfall Road. Wetland on the site will also be preserved.

Construction on the trail will begin in 2013.
