Waterloo man killed in car crash

A 76-year-old Waterloo man is dead following a one-car crash on Tuesday. It happened on Burgess Road in Waterloo around 8 p.m.

Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies say Anthony Grillone was northbound on Burgess Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. His vehicle left the road, went into a ditch, hit a stone culvert and overturned. Deputies say Grillone was not wearing a seatbelt.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
