Nazareth College celebrates opening of new math and science building

News10NBC got a sneak peek at the newest building at Nazareth College.

It is called Peckham Hall. The college says it is home to the Integrated Center for Math and Science.

This is one of those buildings where they thought of everything, mostly because they asked the students what they wanted.

Prof. Bill Lammela, Nazareth College, said, “As we were looking at it we asked them. What do you need? They said we need to have food in the building. Ok, there are two kitchens in the building. There's a place they can relax. Plenty of places they can relax. It is truly what the students say they need from us and it's a flexible building for the future. “

The ribbon cutting for the new building is Thursday. Lieutenant Governor Bob Duffy will be there to do that.
