Rochester man accused of murdering teen expected in court

The Rochester man accused of killing a 17-year-old girl and putting her body in a pool was in court Thursday.

Twenty-year-old Devante Lively is charged with second-degree murder. He is accused of killing Larie Butler. Her body was found in a pool in Irondequoit.

In court, the prosecution and defense had a hearing about if statements Lively gave to police will be allowed to be presented as evidence in trial.

Butlers family and friends were in court Thursday.
