Thruway official expects toll hike

The Thruway Authority Director says a toll hike is likely in the near future.

The questions are now “how much?” and “who will it affect?” The Thruway Authority already proposed a 45-percent toll hike on commercial vehicles in May. According to the Thruway Authority, board members are still going through input gather last month during public meetings across the state.

News10NBC is told the Thruway Authority is expected to move forward with some kind of toll adjustment.
