Saturday is Museum Day

Looking for something fun to do with your kids Saturday afternoon? Why not spend it at a museum.

The Genesee Country Village and Museum is one of three area museums participating in the annual “Museum Day Live” hosted by Smithsonian magazine.

The Smithsonian museums in Washington, D.C. offer free admission every day and they want to spread the wealth. Participating museums across the country open their doors for free.

Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum in Sodus Point and the Museum of Wayne County History in Lyons and are also taking part in the celebration.
