Students new to the U.S got a big help from nurses at the Golisano Children's Hospital.
Today refugee students at the Rochester International Academy received hygiene bags. They were donated by the Pediatric Nursing Council at the Golisano Children's Hospital. In the bags are personalized bags filled with products that some of the students may have never seen.
Mary Andrecolich-Diaz, is the Principal of Rochester International Academy. She say, "They know these are items they don't have. And once they have them, they learn how to use them. And it also shows them that the community is supporting them, and welcoming them to our country."
160 students will be receiving these bags of love.
