The family of a local soldier is raising money to help support his wife and child, after he was injured in the line of duty.
22-year-old Cody Coopenberg of Holley remains in critical condition at an Army Hospital in Texas.
The pig roast fundraiser was held on Saturday to help Coopenberg's wife and 18-month-old baby through this difficult time.
There was plenty of food and entertainment.
Coopenberg's mother says the outpouring of support from the community has been amazing.
She says, "It's crazy, it's crazy... the response and the support from the community... I mean you can just see for yourself it's just been overwhelming and everybody has just been such a big help and it's just been crazy."
If you would like to help, the family tells News10NBC they have set up an account with First Niagara Bank.
