RG&E is postponing its move of another transformer. On Tuesday, RG&E was suppose to move a 186-ton phase-shifting transformer from a location on Main Street in Macedon to substation 124 off of Harris Road in Penfield, but it has been postponed. They did not say when the move will be rescheduled.

This transformer is identical to the one moved last month. It was moved from a location near Culver Road and Atlantic Avenue to substation 42 off Blossom Road in Rochester.

The company says this is part of a major upgrade at the substation that will help RG&E maintain the reliability of the electric delivery system.
