nullState Supreme Court Judge Joseph Valentino has been appointed to serve as a judge for the Fourth Appellate Division.

Judge Valentino's appointment was announced by Governor Cuomo Monday.

Judge Valentino was elected to the New York State Supreme Court in Monroe County in 2001. Prior to being elected to the State Supreme Court, Judge Valentino served as an Acting County Court Judge and a Rochester City Court judge.

"I am proud to appoint such an accomplished and diverse group of jurists to the Appellate Division," Governor Cuomo said. "The experience and dedication of this group will be a tremendous addition to the Courts and our justice system. I am confident that these justices will continue to serve the Empire State with great distinction, and I thank the judicial screening committees for their hard work in presenting me with these outstanding candidates."
