Deadly car crash in Hamlin

One man is dead following a crash in Hamlin.

The crash happened on Brick Schoolhouse Road just after 4:30p.m.

Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies say a car driven by a pregnant woman, carrying a male passenger, was traveling south on Route 260 when a truck pulled out in front of them. Investigators say the car t-boned the truck.

The male passenger was ejected and died at the scene. Both the pregnant woman and the driver of the truck have been taken to the hospital. Sheriff’s Deputies do not know their conditions at this time.

Sheriff's deputies say the names of the individuals involved in the crash will be released Tuesday.
