Two teens charged in connection with the death of a five-year-old from Niagara Falls were arraigned on a grand jury indictment Monday.
John Freeman, Jr. is charged with second-degree murder and tampering with evidence in the death of 5-year-old Isabella Tennant.
Freeman's friend, Tyler Best, is charged with hindering prosecution and tampering with evidence.
Investigators say Freeman killed Isabella and Best then helped Freeman dispose of the body in a garbage bin.
Isabella was staying at her great-grandmother's house in Niagara Falls when she was reported missing in August. She was found that same day in the garbage bin just blocks from the home.
Both suspects pled not guilty at Monday's arraignment and are being held without bail.
