Seneca County man charged with rape

A Seneca County man has been charged with third-degree rape.

Sheriff’s Deputies say Michael Cornish, 24 of Romulus, had sexual contact with a 15-year-old female in June 2012.

An order of protection barring Cornish from any contact with girl was issued.

Cornish was released on his own recognizance.
