Update: Infant found unresponsive dies at Strong Hospital

A nine month old infant found unresponsive last week has died.

The Rochester Police Department says that the infant was unresponsive last Thursday morning inside a home at the corner of Hertel Street and Silver Street in the city. The child died on Saturday at Strong Hospital.

The incident is being investigated by the Rochester Police Major Crimes Division. No names are being released and there are no charges at this time.
