It's an exciting and unique opportunity for city school students, and it's all thanks to the Rochester Broadway Theater League.

Over 1,000 students will get the chance to see a live performance of the musical "Memphis" when it comes to Rochester in November.

It's all part of RBTL's "Theater Team" education program.

One of the producers for the show was in Rochester on Tuesday to meet with teachers about the program.

Sue Frost says it's a wonderful opportunity for children to experience something they may not otherwise get to be part of.

Frost says, "I think theater has always been a great tool for cultural change, for social change. I think it's an opportunity to experience something many of these children have never experienced before."

"Memphis" will be in town from November 27 until December 2.
